HARDIE WILSON PASSED AWAY MONDAY Beloved Kingswood Woman Dies After Short Illness--- Mrs. Nettie DAVIS WILSON, wife of Hardie WILSON, died at her home at Kingswood, Monday, June 19, 1939, after being ill less than a week of blood poisoning. She was born December 18, 1901, and was 38 years of age. On August 21, 1920, she was married to Hardie WILSON, and to this union four sons were born, one of whom preceded her in death about 12 years ago. Mrs. WILSON gave her heart and life to Jesus twenty-five years ago. She was a member of the Pilgrim Church at Kingswood, and lived a devoted, consecrated life. Her greatest ambition in life was to rear her boys in the fear of the Lord, and have a home of prayer and Godliness. She had no fear of death, and much of her time in the past few weeks had been spent in prayer for the revival which was in progress at the time of her last illness. She asked the Lord at several different times for a revival at any cost, and only a few hours before she went to her eternal reward she was heard naming practically every unsaved person in Kingswood in her prayer and praying that they might be saved. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a kind neighbor, and a friend to all who knew her. A place is vacant in the home that can never be filled, but her family and loved ones have the assurance that she has gone to heaven, and that they may see her again on the resurrection day in the arms of Jesus.
