Mother of Graham Jolly Mrs. Amanda JOLLY of Sample, Ky in Breckinridge County, died on January 10, 1916 at the advanced age of 84. Her pastor, the Reverend S. K. She was born in Hardinsburg, Breckinridge County, Ky on October 28, 1921, a daughter of the late James Ova and Clemmie SMILEY ROBINSON. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, flower gardening, but most of all -- she loved her family. She was a member of the Hardinsburg Baptist Church, and past worship and song leader at Friendship Baptist Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. JOLLY on February 24, 2004. He was born in Webster in Breckinridge County on June 9, 1949, the son of the late Virgil Clay JOLLY, Sr. and Elvira SCHOTT JOLLY. Clay retired from Dal-Tile Company, and spent his time farming and painting -- two jobs that he adored. He was a member of the Kingswood Wesleyan Church. He was a kind, soft spoken man who loved his family, and the times spent with them. He had a soft spot for his pets, and enjoyed watching and feeding the birds that visited his back yard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray JOLLY.
