The cemetery
formerly known as the "Edward DeHaven
cemetery" was located on the
east (left) bank ofLong Lick Creek. It was on a
road leading from Glen Dean
to McDaniels, a few yards below where the road
crosses the creek, in edge of field
surrounded by trees. There are two burial plots
enclosed by a stone fence of broken
stones. (copied by John Allen Dean; May 23,
1918).
In 1962, the cemetery was taken in the easement
for Rough River Reservoir. The
eight (8) listed below are the ones moved to Dean
Cemetery #4/Dean-DeHaven cemetery. |
